CISCEA gets in charge of the Amazon Surveillance System or SIVAM (from its Portuguese name, Sistema de Vigilância da Amazônia). Therefore, the CCSIVAM, Commission for Coordination of the Amazon Surveillance System Implementation is created.
The Regional Flight Protection System of Porto Alegre (SRPV-PA) is deactivated and the CINDACTA II incorporates the activities hitherto carried out by that unit.
